VSA Idaho Call for Artists "Helpers" exhibit

VSA Call for Artist

Good help when it is given provides support and allows people to grow and keep their dignity and promotes independence. But the danger is, that help can also limit or take dignity away from those who receive it. This exhibit will explore the complex issues around those who receive and give help.

VSA of Idaho "Helpers" art exhibit "Call to Artists" invites Idaho artists to submit art in the following mediums: Painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, video, film, performance, written word and spoken word. All works must be original and completed within the last two years.

Submission deadline: September 1, 2010
Exhibition: October 1, 2010
Awards: 1st - $1000, 2nd - $500, 3rd - $250

Idaho Parents Unlimited was incorporated in March of 1985. Therefore, this year 2010, makes twenty-five years of serving Idaho’s families of children with disabilities.

On May 13th we held our Annual Awards Ceremonies and celebrated our 25th years with a big birthday barbecue.
