Idaho Parents Unlimited's Staff: Allison Highley
Allison Highley is the Family and Youth Health Director at Idaho Parents Unlimited, and the main voice behind IPUL’s podcast, “Unlimited Parenting”.
She helps families of children with disabilities find their way through school systems and community supports. She attends meetings in the children’s mental health system and on Medicaid advisory panels to make sure the voices of families are heard where decisions are made. She is a trained Charting the LifeCourse Ambassador and uses this approach to guide families in planning for the future in ways that reflect their strengths, values, and goals.
Allison earned her degree in Psychology from Boise State University and previously worked as a behavioral interventionist with non-verbal Autistic preschoolers.
She is also a proud mom of three young Autistic children
