Kristy Colima

Kristy serves as a Family Resource Specialist at Idaho Parents Unlimited (IPUL), bringing over 18 years of experience in the healthcare field in the Treasure Valley. Her professional journey has ranged from serving as an Advanced Prostate Cancer Navigator to working as a Medical Assistant at Boise Pediatrics, where she provided compassionate care to children of all ages.

A proud mother of two teenagers, Kristy’s personal life has deeply influenced her professional path. Her son’s autism diagnosis sparked her passion for disability advocacy and led her to IPUL. Since joining the organization, Kristy has not only supported families through her work but has also seen the powerful impact of advocacy in her own home. Witnessing her son gain the confidence to speak up for himself and actively plan for his future has affirmed Kristy’s belief in the life-changing power of self-advocacy.

Kristy is dedicated to supporting families and ensuring that every child, regardless of ability, has a voice. Her lived experience fuels her commitment to IPUL’s mission, and she serves as a strong reminder that advocacy matters.
